How EA FC 25 tournaments run on Fragnet

EA SPORTS FC 25 events are almost always 1v1, which makes them the easiest tournaments on this list to organise and the hardest to score. There is no lobby to reveal — players send each other friendly invites — so the organizer's real job is pairing, timekeeping and collecting results.

Fragnet handles the registration, the approvals and the check-in. Because there is no results entry here, most organizers run the bracket in a separate tool and link it from the listing.

EA FC 25 formats you'll see

1v1 straight knockout

The default. Simple, fast, and finishes in an evening for up to 32 entrants.

League / round robin

Everyone plays everyone. Fairer, but the match count grows quadratically — above eight players it stops fitting in a night.

Squad restrictions

Many organizers cap team ratings or restrict Ultimate Team squads so the event is not decided by who spent the most. Check the rules.

Prizes in EA FC 25 events

Cash or FC Points. As with every title here, the organizer states the prize and pays it directly — Fragnet never holds prize money and cannot recover it if it does not arrive. A payout timeframe in the listing is a good sign.

Hosting a EA FC 25 tournament

  • State the platform and whether cross-play is on. It is the single biggest source of confusion in FC events.
  • Set squad restrictions explicitly, or accept that the event will be decided by squads.
  • Define the screenshot you want as proof of a result, and who arbitrates a dispute.
  • Set a forfeit clock — 1v1 events stall on one player who does not show.

EA FC 25 tournament FAQ

Can console and PC players enter the same EA FC event?
Only if the organizer allows it and cross-play is enabled. The listing declares a device, and Discover filters on it.
How are scores reported if Fragnet does not record results?
The organizer decides — usually a screenshot of the final score posted to their Discord or a shared sheet. Fragnet deliberately has no results entry; we cover everything up to kickoff and between rounds.
What is the difference between a knockout and a league here?
A knockout eliminates you on a loss and finishes quickly. A league has everyone play everyone and takes far longer, but one bad match does not end your night.
