Fortnite tournaments run either as custom matches, which need an Epic-issued custom key, or as points-based events across public matches. The custom-key route gives a clean private lobby; the public route relies on players reporting placements within a window.
The organizer enters the room ID and password once when they publish. Both stay encrypted until a set number of minutes before start — 15 by default — and then unlock for confirmed players only. Nobody pastes a code into a channel half the lobby cannot read, and nobody joins a room they were never approved for.

Prizes in Fortnite events
Cash or V-Bucks. V-Bucks are usually delivered as a gift card or a code rather than a direct transfer, and gifting is restricted in ways that can bite — ask how the organizer intends to deliver it, and whether your account's region can receive it. Fragnet displays the prize and nothing else.

- For private custom matches, yes — that comes from Epic, not from Fragnet. Without one, organizers run points-based events across public matches.

- Usually as a gift card or code, since direct gifting is restricted. The organizer should state the method and the timeframe on the listing.
- Are Fortnite events on Fragnet bracketed?
- Fragnet has no bracket generator. Most Fortnite events are points-based anyway; organizers running a bracket link it from the listing.
