Terms of service

The sections below say the same thing at more length, plus the ordinary rules about accounts, content and conduct. Nothing below contradicts the box above; if it appears to, the box wins.

When an organizer lists an event and a player joins it, any agreement about entry fees, prizes, rules, refunds or conduct is between the organizer and the player. Fragnet is not a party to it, does not guarantee it, and cannot enforce it.

• We do not collect, hold, escrow, transmit or refund entry fees or prize money at any point.
• Amounts shown on a listing are figures the organizer entered, displayed for comparison. Currency conversions are indicative only; the organizer’s stated amount in their own currency is what is owed.
• We do not verify that an organizer can fund an advertised prize pool.
• We cannot recover funds, reverse a payment or compel a payout.

Fragnet performs no identity checks and no KYC on organizers or players. Signup confirms only that an email address or phone number reaches someone. There is no verification badge, and any claim of Fragnet verification is false.

Signals shown on an organizer’s page — events completed, ratings, reviews — are either observations we made or statements players wrote. They are not endorsements and not a guarantee of future conduct.

• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate another person, organisation or esports brand.
• You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, and to hold an account for the games you enter. Some publishers set their own minimum ages.
• You can delete your account at any time. Listings and reviews connected to completed events may remain, because removing them would rewrite other people’s records.

Publishing a listing is a public statement, and players rely on it. You are responsible for it being accurate.

• State your rules, entry fee terms and payout terms accurately and up front, and honour them.
• Do not advertise a prize you do not intend or are not able to provide.
• Do not list an event you do not have the access or permission to run, including custom-room or tournament-mode access where a publisher requires it.
• Comply with the terms of the game publisher whose title you are running, and with the law where you and your participants are.
• Handle participant data you receive — in-game IDs, contact details — only for running your event.
• You are responsible for any tax or regulatory obligation arising from fees you collect or prizes you award. We are not, because we never touch either.

These map to the reporting categories, so anything reportable is also prohibited.

• Scams, including collecting entry fees with no intention of running the event or paying out.
• Fake or materially misleading listings.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats or abuse toward anyone.
• Cheating, or facilitating it, including account sharing where the event prohibits it.
• Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or manipulating ratings and reviews.
• Automated scraping or bulk extraction of listings, profiles or contact details.
• Attempting to bypass entry passes, room credential timing or approval controls.

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You grant us the licence needed to display it on the platform and in search results and link previews — that is what listing something publicly requires.

Reviews must describe genuine experience of an event you took part in. We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we may remove listings and accounts.

Game titles, logos and artwork are the property of their respective publishers. Fragnet is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any publisher. Titles are named to identify the games tournaments are played on.

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features described on this site may change or be withdrawn. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from an event you organised or entered, from a payment made to another user, or from an interruption to the service.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects consumer rights you have where you live.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced rather than made quietly.
