Street Fighter 6 tournaments are 1v1 bracket events, and they are a backbone of the FGC circuit — both as weekly online locals and as offline events at a venue. Sets are short, so the constraint is pairing throughput rather than match length.
Fragnet covers the listing, the approval queue, the waitlist, signed QR entry passes and door check-in from any phone browser. It does not run brackets or record results.
Street Fighter 6 formats you'll see
FT2 double elimination
The standard: first-to-two sets, losers bracket, FT3 from winners/losers finals.
Pools into top 8
For larger entrant counts. Pools run in parallel, top 8 on stream.
Weekly locals
Same format, same time, every week. Clone last week's listing and change the date.
Prizes in Street Fighter 6 events
Usually a cash pot, sometimes split by entry fees, sometimes topped up by the venue. Occasionally Fighter Coins or platform gift cards. Whatever it is, the organizer holds and pays it — Fragnet never touches entry fees or pots, which is also why we take 0%.
Hosting a Street Fighter 6 tournament
- State whether the pot is entry-funded, and if so the exact split. Pot disputes are the most common FGC argument and they are entirely preventable.
- Set set lengths per round and a forfeit clock.
- For venue events, use QR check-in at the door — it scans in a browser.
- Clone the event weekly rather than rebuilding it; that is what recurring locals are for.
Street Fighter 6 tournament FAQ
- How is an entry-funded pot handled?
- Entirely by the organizer. Fragnet never collects entry fees and never holds a pot — the listing states the split and the organizer settles it directly with players.
- Can I run a weekly SF6 local on Fragnet?
- Yes, and cloning is built for it: duplicate last week's event, change the date, publish. Registration, approvals and check-in all carry over.
- Does Fragnet do brackets for FGC events?
- No. Run the bracket in your usual tool and link it from the listing. Fragnet covers everything around it — sign-ups, approvals, waitlist, passes and the door.
