Rainbow Six Siege tournaments run as 5v5 custom matches. The organizer configures the match settings — round count, bomb sites, overtime rules — and passes the lobby details to the ten registered players. Siege has more configurable settings than most titles here, so an under-specified ruleset causes real arguments.
The organizer enters the room ID and password once when they publish. Both stay encrypted until a set number of minutes before start — 15 by default — and then unlock for confirmed players only. Nobody pastes a code into a channel half the lobby cannot read, and nobody joins a room they were never approved for.
